Hebrews 13:14

“For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.”

Good morning WBFWE Family. We made it to another Friday. Another weekend upon us. I praise and thank Yahweh for the blessings of rest, peace and quiet, a roof over my head, to have the functioning of my brain and body, to have access to His word, and the ability to read, interpret, and share His Word… in Jesus name. Pray that my WBFWE Family Members are well today and appreciating their blessings from the sleep last night to reading of this prayer and word right now… in Jesus name. Praying that The Father will answer spoken and unspoken prayers. Praying The Father will continue to bless you in your comings and goings today. Praying protection and safety for you from all hurt, harm, or danger. I pray He continues to direct and guide you throughout this day, your weekend, and for as long as you allow Him. And I pray that we remember that our permanent home is not this world we current live in and look forward to glory of the new home to come. Almighty God I pray these things in the mighty, sweet, humble, loving name of your Son and Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Amen Amen Amen! Walk in Peace… Walk in Victory!!

We as Christians have to remember that we are only on this earth for a short period of time. We should be mentally pitching a tent here on earth not mentally building a permanent residence. We should be storing up our treasures in heaven not here on earth. By us getting comfortable with the things of this world and calling it home we lose sight of God’s future blessings and our future home.

For when we openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. Once we do that we are not like the rest of the world who doesn’t believe and who wants to hold on this world and the things of this world and not want to leave. They have nothing to look forward to, no future home to go to, except the box they will be buried in. They’ve stored up all their treasures here on earth. And all “their stuff” can’t be buried with them.

But we who do believe and have confessed should be living our lives in a manner that honors Yahweh and not make Christ’s death in vain. Christ came with the mindset that this world was not His home and what kept Him going was the glory that was to come. Let us take on the same mindset as Christ and know that there is something better on the other side for us. Let us look forward to the glory… the home to come.
