“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
Don’t worry…easier said than done right? We are human. Worry is what we do. It is in our human DNA. Well it’s a good thing the WORD isn’t meant to feed our flesh, but our spirit. When situations, challenges, tribulations arise see them from a spiritual perspective.
If the situation worries, bothers, or concerns you… tell the All Knowing All Mighty God all about it. Tell Him what you need and thank Him for not only hearing you and fixing the situation, but thank Him for choosing you to go through the situation, challenge, or tribulation in the first place. Watch Him work. Watch Him give you peace that surpasses on all understand through Christ Jesus!

“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.”
Sometimes it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we can’t even see what’s right in front of us. We get so caught up in what is going on or what’s going wrong that we forget we have the victory. We forget that our real life is truly hidden with Christ in God. So in forgetting, we tend to turn our situation into a Do It Yourself project and do it ourself, thus leaving out our Light At The End of Our Tunnel.
With us being Christians we have to remember we have new lives and should have a new way of thinking and a new way of seeing things. We have to remember that in every situation Yahweh through Christ Jesus is our light at the end of every situation we face. So let’s set our sight beyond the situation in front of us. Let’s set our sight on the victory that is already ours because of the ONE who has already WON and He who is coming.

“And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.”
Genesis 1:27 tells us that God created us in His own image. This scripture alone should govern us in how we carry ourselves (in actions and words) at all times, no matter the situation.
If further confirmation is needed in who we should be representing, how we should carry ourselves, and how we should be towards one another, Colossians 3:17 is just what the doctor ordered. Thank you God the Father for your prescription of scripture of how to get well from this human condition called DON’T KNOW HOW TO ACT… in Jesus name… Amen!

2 Peter 3:8-9
“But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”
It may seem things are going to hell in a hand basket, but we shouldn’t focus on the chaos and lose track of the work we should be doing in Jesus name. We’ve been in this pandemic for over a year. I’ve had my own battles as well that have lasted over 2 years. No one is saying… yes I love this pandemic… yes I love going through my issues… we are ready to be over things and through things like… NUFF ALREADY!
We ask ourselves how much longer will this pandemic or our individual situations go on? To us time is dragging on and seems like forever, but the word tells us that to the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. Pointless to say… but I’ma say it anyway… HIS TIME IS NOT OUR TIME! He is not only giving us time to get it right, repent, and come to Him, but time to complete the work He has called us to do.
Let us stop looking at how long things are taking, but look at what we can be doing with the time we are being given!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
The infallible Word of God will never lead us astray. If we do as it instructs and be joyful through any and every situation… praying, praising, and thanking Him through any and every situation… we will be victorious through any and every situation!

“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.”
We can’t move forward or even see what awesome things are in store for us if we keep holding on to the past. We should see the blessing in our past lessons, but we don’t have to continually drag the whole past experience or person forward with us. We can’t grasp our future with our hands full of our past. Let the past stay where is belongs, which is in the past… and focus on what’s ahead!

1 Timothy 4:4
“Since everything God created is good we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.”
Our Heavenly Father created everything from the heavens and earth to human beings and everything in-between. And at the end of his creativity, Genesis 1:31 tells us that God looked over all He had made, and he saw that it was VERY GOOD! But we as human beings have a habit of not accepting what He called VERY GOOD. We as human beings have a habit of criticizing what He called VERY GOOD. We as human beings have a habit of thinking or acting like we could’ve done better or made better than what He called VERY GOOD.
We have a tendency to wake up and speak into existence about our day and that it will not be a good day, but His WORD tells us that everything He created is VERY GOOD. So even if it is a rainy, cloudy, or stormy day… it is still a VERY GOOD day. Even if we wake up not feeling the day, we should not speak bad or criticize the day we have been given, because what we have been given is VERY GOOD. We have a tendency to reject or criticize each other, but we are created in His IMAGE… and what He created He called VERY GOOD. We may not like each others behaviors, lifestyles, attitudes, appearances, ways of thinking, and ways of doing things, but to criticize the creation is insulting THE CREATOR. We take the human being that He calls VERY GOOD and call it everything imaginable and unimaginable. Yahweh created union between man and woman. He put Adam and Eve together and what He put together was amazingly beautiful and VERY GOOD. They as human beings had it made until they stopped listening to Him and started listening to outside noises and voices. When we stop seeing how He sees things… when we stop listening to Him… when we stop following Him… we stop seeing things as VERY GOOD!
Let us as human beings and followers of Christ Jesus stop listening to the negativity that is within us and around us. Let us stop listening to outside noises and voices that are full of hate, unkind words, ugliness, and ungodliness. Let us remember that everything created by THE CREATOR and brought together by Him is VERY GOOD. Let us receive all that He has created and given to us with a thankful and grateful heart. Let us see how God saw and and STILL see His CREATION… and call it VERY GOOD.

1 Timothy 1:12-13
“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him, even though I used to blaspheme the name of Christ. In my insolence, I persecuted his people. But God had mercy on me because I did it in ignorance and unbelief”
Christ called Paul to serve Him despite Paul’s background of threats and violence against Christians. Christ called Paul knowing all his bad, his dirt, and his history. Paul at the calling of Jesus turned his life around and zealously pursued preaching and sharing the good news about Christ to the world.
Christ gave Paul the strength to do what he called him to do. After all the persecution and blaspheme Paul did, Christ still considered him trustworthy and used him mightily. If Christ can call and use a person like Paul who did what he did… Christ can call and use a person like me… like you… who’ve done what we’ve done. We must not let the shame of our past stop us from being a powerful vessel, having a powerful testimony, and being a powerful witness in Jesus name.
Christ specializes in calling people who think they can’t be used, who think they are useless, who think their past disqualifies them from being used by Him. As Paul didn’t see his transformation coming, we may not see our transformation coming either. But whether we see it coming or not, we should answer the door when Christ comes knocking.
Christ can and will forgive us of our past transgressions, but we also must forgive ourselves. The harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few. Paul said YES and allowed himself to be used by Christ. I said YES and I’m allowing myself to be used by Christ. Will you say YES and allow yourself to be used also?
Food For Thought: How would things be if The Father told Christ to go and do and Christ said no or dragged His feet in His calling? Where would you be… where would I be… if Christ didn’t obey!?!

1 Timothy 4:8
“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
Spring has finally arrived and we all know what comes after Spring….SUMMER baeeebeee! That means warmer temperatures, plenty of sunshine, and getting in shape/showing off the body. We’ve put in the work or in the process of putting in the work to like what we see on the outside physically. But we can’t forget to put in the work to beautify and like what is on the inside, which is our godliness… our spirit.
We as humans are enamored by what the eye sees. We are in AWE of the physical… the flesh… the smile… the curves… the giggle/bounce. We pay to get personal trainers. We pay for gym memberships. We pay for the attire to work out in. And we invest all this in a vessel that will hold up for only so long, giving us benefits that will last just this life. But the godliness/our spirit only cost us time, energy, commitment, the right mindset, and the right relationship with The Father and Son. And the cost of our investment in our godliness will benefit us in dealing with each other, dealing with this world, and dealing with our life and the life to come.
Our godliness has a significant impact on our physical being. Our godliness can help us live longer when coupled with physical training. We can be both, physically fit and spiritually fit, but we must invest accordingly and appropriately. But only one has promising benefits in the life to come.
Food For Thought: Funny that the same qualities (time, energy, commitment, the right mindset) needed for physical training is the same for training/strengthening our godliness/our faith/our spirit. We invest in and work on what we feel is most important to us!
