Genesis 3: 1-5

1. ” The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” 2. “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. 3. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.'” 4. “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” “

Good morning and Happy Blessed Monday Morning WBFWE Family. I pray all is well and that you had an awesome safe weekend. I pray that your week, starting yesterday is blessed, fruitful, safe, and productive… in Jesus name. Walk in victory, know Yahweh’s voice, don’t listen to lies/untruths/half truths, and know that no weapon formed shall prosper. In Jesus name I pray… amen amen amen!!!

As Christians we all should know the story of Adam and Eve and the deception and lie that took place in the Garden of Eden. The serpent/Satan was up to no good deceiving and lying at the beginning of our existence and he is still at it TODAY. He is the father of lies and he lives up to that moniker 25/8. Satan is on his job every day all day. He doesn’t rest. He is constantly roaming and devouring and deceiving and lying to all who: listen to him, don’t recognize his disguise, don’t recognize Lord God’s voice, don’t know the WORD, don’t have a strong solid relationship/foundation with God Almighty through Christ Jesus, and those weak in faith.

We have to know what we know, stand on what we know, believe and know what the WORD says, and stand on what we were told by the Father. Adam and Eve both knew what Lord God had said. It is evident in Eve’s conversation with Satan. Eve replied to the serpent with what thus said The Lord their God. And for whatever reason she listened and let that serpent convince her to go against what she knew. We who have lived life, still living life, and have made mistakes knows how shrewd, deceiving, and believable the enemy/Satan can be. I will be vulnerable and admit that I’ve had times, in my life, where I’ve let the enemy whisper in my ear. I’ve given in to the lies and deception despite knowing the WORD, despite knowing what I know, and despite hearing from my Heavenly Father. And just like Adam and Eve paid for their disobedience… so did I.

Adam and Eve being disobedient and giving in to Satan is an example of what not to do. Though Eve said what said Lord God in her response to Satan, she didn’t stand on that WORD. Eve didn’t believe nor listen to the WORD that she was told. On the other hand when Christ was tempted by that same Devil three different times… He wasn’t deceived like Adam and Eve was. Jesus didn’t believe the lies like Adam and Eve did. Jesus was obedient. Jesus put the WORD on Satan. Jesus knew what He knew and stood on what He knew.

We reap what we sow when we are obedient and we reap what we sow when we are disobedient. Today Satan is busy spreading lies, deceiving, and devouring believers and non-believers alike. Unlike non-believers, we believers have two awesome examples to follow. And based on those examples of listening to lies and deception and not listening to lies and deception, we can be Adam and Eve like or we can be Christ like.

Yahweh has spoken to me specifically about 2 different things to come in my life. He spoke to me in 2006 and 2020. And I am still patiently waiting for the manifestation of His Word. And despite the murmuring from the enemy… despite my flesh… despite what my human eyes see… I won’t waver… I won’t be deceived… I won’t believe the lies… I will keep the faith… I will believe what was spoken to me… I will be obedient. I encourage you to do the same. If God Almighty has spoken it to you… no matter how long ago or how recently… don’t be deceived… don’t listen to the lies of the enemy… don’t get in your own way… remember what was spoken to you… listen to what was spoken to… be obedient to what was spoken to you!
